The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Coho Salmon Painted on 3/4" thick solid Alder wood. Hangs on the wall like a Mounted Salmon would hang but the Salmon is painted in Oil directly on the wood. The printed version of course is printed on the chosen method on FAA.
About Kevin Hughes
I grew up with a love for all types of creative arts. My first paintings were in the 1970's. I was introduced to Plein Air painting in Sonoma, California in 2002 and have practice it ever since. In recent years I have been painting many "plein air" paintings, portraits, figures, as well as still life. I appreciate traditional realistic painting but also like contemporary style.
